Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and communicate key differentiators effectively.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical project requirements with business requirements for successful position execution.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating product differentiators.
  • Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Build relationships with partners to find and realize opportunities.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience with implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, working knowledge in at least one leading private cloud platform (e.g., VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack).
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization concepts and leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Thorough understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions (e.g., Storage, Security, Compute solutions).
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High-level presentation skills and composure in front of technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic international environment and proven experience managing Proof Of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives, striving for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7+ years of experience.
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in presales.
