Senior Technical Engineer Role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on Base24 eps and a strong analytical/problem-solving skillset, including debugging and testing skills.

They should be proficient in programming languages such as C++ and Java, with experience in Linux, VMware, cloud systems (Azure, AWS), and ISO 8583, XML specifications.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have knowledge/experience in implementation, certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, and configuring various security keys for interchanges, terminals, and host systems.

Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy fit-for-purpose software solutions, including CSMs on BASE 24 EPS.
  • Configure the BASE24 EPS modules as per requirements.
  • Prepare migration scripts.
  • Configure interchange specifications like VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB.
  • Customise, configure interfaces, including testing and fixing issues.
  • Configure terminals, ATMs, and interfaces.
  • Configure and test various host systems.
  • Configure various security keys for interchanges, terminals, cards, and PVKs.
  • Integrate BASE24 EPS with HSMs.
  • Generate required MIS/reports as per business requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Switch systems.
  • Demonstratable experience in configuration, scripting, use of SDK.
  • Experience/understanding on Australian and scheme compliance requirements.
  • Experience with interfacing with card schemes and card scheme formats.
  • Experience integrating Base24 with other bank systems.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, debugging, testing skills, including use of Test Simulators.
  • Strong experience in programming on C++, Java.
  • Experience on Linux, VMware.
  • Cloud system experience (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience on ISO 8583, XML specifications.
  • Knowledge/experience in implementation, certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex, JCB.
  • Knowledge/experience in configuring various security keys for interchanges, terminals, and host systems.
  • Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication.
