SAP Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned SAP project manager to lead our team in delivering high-priority and strategically important projects. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of SAP and strong proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Management: Lead large-scale and complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior business leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams to define clear project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams, ensuring the team remains motivated, focused, and efficient throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, setting clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Budget & Resource Allocation: Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation is efficient and costs are controlled.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of project deliverables by enforcing rigorous quality standards and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in SAP and project management methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.
  • Extensive experience working with senior-level executives and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives with business strategy.
  • Significant experience in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships, while ensuring effective cost control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
