Job Title: Junior Backend Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing server-side applications using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Build scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs.
  • Optimize and maintain database connections, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement security best practices to protect data and prevent security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of server applications.
  • Monitor server performance and make necessary optimizations to ensure optimal speed and efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance code quality by adhering to best practices, coding standards, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and other teams to deploy applications and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate our backend solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js.
  • 1+ years of experience using frameworks such as ExpressJS.
  • Practical experience in building APIs and developing caching strategies.
  • Deep understanding of OAuth, REST, and JSON concepts.
  • Practical experience with Git, npm, and yarn.
  • Expert understanding of POSTMAN.
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Pug and EJS.
  • 2+ years of experience with relational databases like MySQL, MSSQL, and Postgres.
