Cybercrime Analyst

Job Opportunity:

A position is available for a skilled digital forensic investigator to join our team.

The successful candidate will conduct thorough investigations into cybercrimes, analyze evidence, and collaborate with other experts to ensure swift resolution of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead digital forensic investigations using expertise in Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Develop targeted VQL queries to hunt down threats and investigate breaches.
• Correlate findings with threat intelligence and incident response casework.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in digital forensics (2-4+ years).
• Hands-on knowledge of Velociraptor and additional tools such as Volatility and Autopsy.
• Advanced understanding of Windows internals and common attacker tactics.
• Ability to automate evidence extraction with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Strong grasp of chain-of-custody practices and evidence preservation best methods.
