Job Title

A Java Backend Developer is a core member of an agile team responsible for driving user story analysis, design, and development of responsive web applications using best engineering practices.

Responsibilities
  • Performing hands-on software development
  • Refactoring code
  • Delivering continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of work experience with a degree in computer science or equivalent. They should possess strong Java knowledge, web fundamentals, and HTTP protocol skills.

Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline
  • 3 - 4 years of work experience
  • 5 - 7 years experience working in Java
  • Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn and collaborate
  • Experience working with Java 11 and above
  • Experience developing java applications in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Drop wizard
  • 2 - 3 yrs recent experience working in Javascript on Node stack
  • 3 years Experience with Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development practices
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environment
  • 3 to 4 yrs working in an Agile or SAFe development environment
  • Solid Understanding of distributed systems
  • Proven experience building scalable web application using Java
