Job Title: Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Leader

The ideal candidate will oversee ARFF services at airports, requiring extensive experience in airport operations, a strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and leadership skills.

  • Manage the Crash Fire Tender team to ensure 24/7 emergency readiness.
  • Develop, implement, and review ARFF operational procedures according to international aviation safety standards.
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid.
  • Oversee maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems.
  • Analyze incident reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services.
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance during simulated emergencies.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits to uphold fire safety and emergency preparedness standards.
  • Lead responses to actual emergency incidents, ensuring swift and effective protection of lives and property.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
Certifications Required:
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority.
  • Fire Safety and Prevention certification.
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in airport operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in ARFF services.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
