Automation Engineer for Quality Assurance

About the Role
A skilled QA Automation Engineer is sought to work with a dynamic team in developing efficient test scripts, collaborating on project requirements, and executing automated tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create scalable, maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand project needs and develop automation strategies.
- Analyze software applications to identify areas for automation and execute automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot/debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
- In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies/principles/practices.
- Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and strong problem-solving skills.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA, or related field.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs) and database systems/SQL.
