This position is for one of our clients, a leading company in the industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SDET to drive the quality assurance process for our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor the SDET team in the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests for backend and frontend applications.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks with a focus on scalability and robustness.
- Plan and execute performance testing strategies to ensure system reliability and stability under load.
- Integrate Docker and Kubernetes into the testing pipeline for containerized applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of testing environments with AWS.
- Monitor tests and troubleshoot failures using automation scripts, logging tools, and metrics.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline integration to automate testing and deployment workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in SDET methodologies and testing tools.
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Ensure compliance with security and performance benchmarks across environments.
- 5 years of experience in test automation and performance testing.
- Expertise in building and managing test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and handle cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with microservices architecture and testing.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards.
- Prior experience working in cloud-native environments with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
