High-Quality Assurance Role in LiveOps Environment

As a highly detail-obsessed and driven Quality Assurance professional, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability on our flagship mobile franchise. This role involves ensuring all software is functioning as intended with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

This position requires strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Dev, Config, Product, Art) to identify potential quality risks early and collaborate on resolving issues efficiently. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Develop and execute tests on new features, tools, and game content to ensure they meet exacting standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early.
  • Document and track issues using bug tracking software from discovery through resolution.
  • Reproduce and isolate complex issues to support engineering resolution efforts.
  • Generate clear and concise QA documentation, reports, and feedback summaries.
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest process improvements.
  • Own the quality of assigned areas - functionality, usability, and player experience.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 5+ years of professional QA experience in games or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of LiveOps processes, config validations, and content testing.
  • Proven ability to work independently in night shifts, staying highly responsive and accountable.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with mobile or web-based games or apps.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing F2P mobile or web-based games.
  • Familiarity with slot games or monetization-driven content.
  • Experience with Unity-based asset validation and bundle integration checks.
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting for regression optimization.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Shift:

  • Night Shift: 2.30 AM to 11.30 AM IST.

Experience:

  • 6+ years of professional game software testing experience required.
  • Gaming domain experience is a must.
  • Expected to handle critical validations, live content checks, and stakeholder communication in real time.
