Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years' experience in structural engineering, preferably in the Australian commercial sector.
  • Expertise in seismic analysis and design, adhering to Australian codes and standards.
  • Ability to integrate structural designs with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical services efficiently.
  • Hands-on proficiency in using Revit and 2D/3D drafting/BIM systems for structural documentation.
  • Experience applying modular framing systems for secondary structures and detailing standard welded sections.
  • Track record of delivering cost-effective, buildable solutions through effective value engineering practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian codes and standards (e.g., NCC; AS/NZS 1170 incl. earthquake; AS 4100, AS 3600, AS/NZS 4600, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with an Australia-based team remotely.
