Software Development Engineer in Test RoleJob Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate API and UI tests for web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of Java, solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework, and hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience, strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires experience in Agile/Scrum environments, strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
