Job Title: IT Client Solutions Engineer

The IT Client Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of best-in-class client endpoint technologies and services at Trane Technologies. This position will work closely with multiple technical teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that meet the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical client endpoint solutions for business requirements.
  • Support technical solutions and ensure reliable, secure client endpoint devices.
  • Develop an overall approach to client endpoint implementations, considering technical requirements, business input, user experience, and interoperability with existing systems.
  • Participate in IT projects and business projects, contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Deliver innovative solutions to challenging customer problems.
  • Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of client endpoint standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • End-to-end involvement in client endpoint projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and handoff to operations.
  • Apply lean principles to drive process improvements and automation, leading to a better employee experience.
  • Ensure that all internal customer inquiries and issues are resolved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on configuration, strategy, and solutions for client endpoint device management systems.
  • Develop strategic solutions for deployments and configuration of client endpoint devices.
  • Administer and maintain cloud platforms.
  • Patch and service Windows/iOS/Linux and third-party software.
  • Provide reporting and metrics for ongoing operational activities.
  • Configure, test, deploy, and operationally support client endpoint security applications, policies, and configurations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related IT technical field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of IT technical experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and leaders to achieve a positive, productive outcome.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude.
  • Ability to be self-driven.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.
  • Proficient oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Broad technical IT knowledge and awareness of industry trends.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual team.
  • Constantly seeks process improvements.
  • Ability to evaluate priorities and drive effective time management.
  • Deep technical and hands-on experience in administration and supporting configuration management, OSD, and patching technologies, with preferred experience in MECM, Intune, and Patch my PC.
