Job Summary

:

We are seeking a skilled PV System Specialist to design and optimize photovoltaic (PV) Array Plans using the PVCase software. PVCase streamlines the process of designing solar projects, from site assessment to system layout and electrical design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, simulate, and optimize solar projects from initial concept design to construction and commissioning using PVCase.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate system layouts and electrical designs.
  • Analyze site conditions, including terrain, shading, and environmental factors, to identify optimal locations for PV array modules.
  • Generate detailed BOM reports, drawings, and documentation using PVCase software.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, guidelines, and best practices related to PV system design.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting, design, and engineering practices, with specialized courses in CAD.
  • Site experience is an added advantage.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in PVCase software, including AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, including solar panels, inverters, and AC & DC collection cable routing.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV installations.
  • Ability to generate accurate and detailed BOM reports, drawings using PVCase software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PV system design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering PV projects on time and within budget.
