Job Overview:

The role of an Export Logistics Specialist is to collaborate with the sales team to plan shipments according to customer requirements.

This position requires coordinating with various stakeholders including manufacturing sites, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily stock levels and adjust invoicing plans accordingly.
  • Prepare pre-export and post-export documentation.
  • Negotiate freight rates with transporters.
  • Coordinate shipment movements with manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Communicate shipment updates to customers.
  • Verify post-shipment documents and submit them to banks within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Handle customer inquiries and audit-related queries.
  • Demonstrate expertise in handling both Less than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL) shipments.
  • Familiarity with Letter of Credit and LC Clause documentation.
  • Proficiency in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as TCS ION/SAP HANA.
  • Prepare Certificate of Origin/GSP, Insurance certificates, and bank realization certificates.
  • Maintain relationships with shipping companies and Custom Brokers.
  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and review/closing IDPMS and EDPMS open transactions.

Qualifications:

A graduate degree in any field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in export coordination at an executive level.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
