We are seeking a seasoned Backend Java Developer to join our engineering team.

This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software applications with limited oversight. Their expertise in microservices and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework JPA (Java Persistence API) will enable them to craft elegant and high-performing code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elegant Code Development
  • Quality Practices - unit testing, code reviews, leading tests
  • Application Optimization - ensuring quality practices, optimizing the application for non-functional requirements
  • CI/CD Process Management
  • End-to-end Application Delivery
  • Complex Issue Troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience - 7 to 9 years of experience
  • Microservices and Cloud Native Apps - experience developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework JPA (Java Persistence API)
  • Unit Testing - experience working with Unit testing using frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, JBehave
  • Build and Deploy Services - experience building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of the CI/CD process
  • Google Cloud Platform - experience working in Google Cloud Platform
  • Relational Database - experience with any Relational Database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)

  • Excellent Communication Skills - design-related conversations, ability to build and nurture good relationships, and foster an environment for collaboration
