SEO Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SEO specialist to join our fast-paced digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of hands-on SEO experience, a solid understanding of core SEO principles, and a passion for digital marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement on-page SEO tactics including content optimization, keyword targeting, meta tag refinement, internal linking strategies, and basic schema markup.
  • Assist in off-page SEO efforts including contributing to link-building campaigns, outreach, and acquiring high-quality backlinks.
  • Support technical SEO audits identifying and reporting on performance issues, indexation problems, and visibility-impacting factors.
  • Contribute to local SEO strategies managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles, local listings, and citations.
  • Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager, and extract actionable insights.
  • Leverage tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and ChatGPT for keyword research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of professional SEO experience (local and organic SEO experience is a plus).
  • Solid foundational knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console, GTM, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data.
  • A proactive attitude with adaptability and multitasking capabilities in both individual and team-based environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
