**Job Overview**

The role of a Subject Expert is to ensure that the highest quality questions are developed for assessments. This involves managing large teams of subject matter experts and working closely with other team members to meet project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing and implementing quality standards for question writing and review
  • Tracking inventory and maintaining optimal levels of item availability in assigned domains
  • Defining selection criteria and strategy for subject matter expert recruitment and management
  • Monitoring performance quality and providing training and development opportunities
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets
  • Supporting the lead subject administrator in delivering projects and meeting organizational needs

**Qualifications and Skills:**

  • Subject competency in school subjects up to 12th level as per NCERT syllabus
  • Broad understanding of the education system of the country and NCERT/CBSE/boards
  • Experience working in the education sector related to assessment and evaluation, including test designs and question development
  • Good command over English, both written and spoken
  • Good command over spoken Hindi

Proficiency in at least one of the following skills:
