Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial insurance sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

  1. Maintain a strong understanding of the general insurance industry, including products, services, and market trends.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve personal and team targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services.
  4. Conduct needs analyses to identify client requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as underwriting and claims teams, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years' experience in the general insurance industry, preferably in a sales or account management capacity.
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Service Excellence measures will include:

  • Issuance of policies within 7 days.
  • Refunds within 10 days.
  • Quotes 48 hours within branch authority.
