Job Description

As a Business Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining IT solutions that meet business needs.

Mission:

  • Contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions by understanding business ambitions and functional architecture.
  • Offer a balanced approach between standardization, simplification, and customization to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure that proposed IT solutions adhere to principles of support, maintainability, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to guarantee alignment with business goals.
  • Verify that customers obtain the expected business benefits as outlined in the business case.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for standardization and simplification.
  • Contribute to the standardization of IS and ensure compliance with key principles.
  • Work closely with the product architect to design and develop scalable technical solutions.
  • Understand and analyze functional processes within the Michelin supply chain to deliver tailored customer experiences.
  • Provide Level 2/3 application support and participate in Agile team activities.
  • Participate in user story creation, test strategy, and knowledge sharing.
  • Design and implement technically sound solutions that cater to evolving business needs.
  • Consider factors like FMEA and performance requirements when developing solutions.
  • Adhere to established guidelines, processes, naming conventions, and operability rules.
  • Exhibit self-directed behavior and excel in fast-paced environments.
  • Effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical expertise in API, REST API design, and API management.
  • Strong knowledge of integration architectures, including MQ, EDI, and event-driven systems (Kafka).
  • Basic understanding of technologies like Java and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns and experience in business and functional analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Customer-centric attitude, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions.
