Key Responsibilities

1. Timely preparation and submission of direct taxes compliance reports, forms, and returns.

2. Coordination and completion of tax audits and statutory audits.

3. Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.

4. Adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

5. Evaluation and suggestion of transfer pricing at arms length.

6. Review of related party agreements and advice on tax strategies.

7. Litigation management, drafting, representation, and appeals.

8. Various tax strategies.

9. Compilation of monthly/quarterly data, preparation of returns, and e-filing of corporate tax returns.

10. Corporate tax assessments.

11. Facilitation in preparation of detail of assessment and appeal proceedings.

12. Facilitation in calculation, computation, and deposit of advance tax, TDS transactions, and filing of TDS returns.

13. Supervision of TDS details for individuals and proper handling of declaration forms and investment papers of employees.

14. Facilitation in preparation and issuance of Form No. 16 and 16A.

15. Facilitation in regulatory works related to taxation and allied laws.

Requirements

1. Proficient knowledge of finalization of accounts, direct tax (income tax), and allied laws.

2. Analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset.

3. Working knowledge of income tax act, companies act, etc.

4. Expert knowledge of MS office/excel.

5. Experience of working in SAP/ERP environment.

Education and Experience

- CA with ~8+ years of experience in handling finalization of accounts, direct taxes, and transfer pricing, merger and amalgamation.

- Excellent in dealing with tax authorities till the level of JCCT/Commissioner of Direct Taxes/ITAT matters.

- Excellent attitude and go-getter.
