Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, with experience in tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • They should also have hands-on experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, and Splunk.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in performance engineering activities, DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with web logic, Oracle databases, and cloud-native services is highly desirable.

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Engaging in and improving the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  2. Supporting services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  3. Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  4. Running continuous improvement activities that improve service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance.
  5. Working with the team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the Service.
  6. Implementing metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  7. Aligning with/improving change management and capacity planning processes.
  8. Monitoring levels of manual effort and driving improvement through automation and stability.
  9. Proactively improving service availability, performance, and efficiency via delivery of automated feature/story engineering quality measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • End-to-end performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, and Splunk.
  • Performance engineering activities.
  • DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Web logic, Oracle databases, and cloud-native services.
