We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with specialization in Direct Taxation to manage the organization's direct tax compliance, advisory, litigation, and planning activities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate income tax returns.
- Handle advance tax computations, tax provisioning, and TDS/TCS compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all direct tax regulations and timelines.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to optimize tax liabilities within legal frameworks.
- Represent the organization before tax authorities for assessments, appeals, and audits.
- Prepare responses to notices and handle tax scrutiny assessments.
- Coordinate with external consultants and legal counsel for high-stakes tax litigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in direct taxation.
- Strong understanding of Indian Income Tax Act, TDS provisions, and related regulations.
- Experience in handling tax assessments, audits, and litigation.
- Proficiency in tax computation software, MS Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
