About this role:

We're seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team and work on the development of blockchain-based data pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain robust data extraction tools that convert on-chain events into actionable insights.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with low-level protocol details, understands decentralized finance mechanics, and can build scalable data systems.

  • Design and develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer).
  • Build and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  • Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution).

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Go or Rust.
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math:
  • Constant product formulas: x * y = k
  • Uniswap V3 ticks
  • TWAP / oracle logic
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure (e.g., Geth, Erigon, RPC APIs).
  • Ability to work independently and own complex software systems from design to deployment.
