Senior Frontend Software Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team.

This position involves designing, developing and maintaining high-performance web applications using Angular.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

You will also be responsible for integrating UI with Oracle or other relational databases via APIs and backend services.

Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is required.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control and agile methodologies is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design principles.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required. Additionally, 7+ years of professional experience in Angular development is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Design, develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integration: Integrate UI with Oracle or other relational databases via APIs and backend services.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate with RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between the UI and backend systems.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing and deployment.
• Cloud Services: Work with AWS or Microsoft Azure, including S3 or equivalent cloud storage services.
• Version Control: Use Git for version control, branching and code reviews.
• Task Management: Manage and track development tasks in Jira and contribute to sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure applications meet high standards of security, performance and compliance within the financial domain.
• Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams providing clear communication of progress, risks and technical challenges.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Angular development (Angular 8+ preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design principles.
• Database Integration: Experience with Oracle or other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and integration best practices.
• Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services including S3 or equivalent.
• Git and CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• RESTful API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs into Angular applications.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and task tracking tools like Jira.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience working in the Investment Banking Domain is strongly preferred.

• Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API integration best practices.
• Containerization: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Automated Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular.
• Security and Compliance: Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.
