Options Trader Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Options Trader to join our team at Univest Communication Technologies Private Limited. As an Options Trader, you will be responsible for managing the options risk of an active, electronic and automated trading platform. This includes understanding portfolio level hedging of Greeks and deploying index and single stock option market making and trading strategies.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage the options risk of an active, electronic and automated trading platform.
  • Deploy index and single stock option market making and trading strategies.
  • Analysis of trading performance and development of new logic to improve trading performance.


Requirements

  • Knowledge of derivatives and options in particular option trading strategies.
  • Knowledge of options pricing, Greeks, volatility trading, hedging.
  • Several years of actual derivatives trading experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities including the use of Excel for analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Very strong communication skills ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and interact well with both peers as well as senior management.
  • Hands on expertise of tools like: Opstra, Sensibull, OI Pulse etc.
  • Post-Graduate degree in statistics, finance, mathematics, engineering (Computer Science) or other quantitative or computational disciplines.
  • Strong experience working both independently and, in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
