Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon scope, timeline, and objectives. They will effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Set Project Timeline: Establish a clear and realistic project schedule that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor Project Deliverables: Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Update Relevant Stakeholders: Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, including clients, project team members, and senior management.
  • Coach and Support Team Members: Provide guidance and support to project team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Proper Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including documentation, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Lead and Manage MEP Activities: Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities across projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Architects and Engineers: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all MEP systems meet local and international codes and safety regulations.
  • Oversee Procurement and Contract Negotiations: Manage procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations for MEP services.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Quality Audits: Regularly inspect project sites and conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Prepare and Present Project Updates: Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Implement Energy-Efficient Solutions: Develop and implement energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions.
  • Manage Project Documentation and Reporting: Oversee project documentation, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in MEP project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is a plus.
