Job Description

The role of the Principal Programmer is to provide technical support to a range of projects, clients and therapeutic areas across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop complex logic and create analysis data sets derived from various data sources with a careful eye for outliers and errors.
  • Build patient cohorts and evaluate patient healthcare events in large databases and use observational research methods such as epidemiology and statistical methods.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in R and SQL programming.
  • Expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron, COTA.
  • Good understanding of Oncology specific analyses such as Line of Therapy algorithms, Survival analysis, different statistical models.

General Skills

  • Lead study team meetings effectively.
  • Presentation of study updates internally and at client meetings.
  • Share knowledge within the team and with colleagues.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics or other subject with high statistical content.
  • Minimum 7-8 years experience in statistical programming.

Additional Information

This role involves working with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
