Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to manage General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities and deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making.

The role involves ensuring timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities, consolidating financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards, performing intercompany reconciliations and eliminating intercompany transactions, managing and maintaining chart of accounts consistency across entities, and supporting statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Timely Financial Consolidation: Manage General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities.
  2. Consolidate Financial Data: Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS, or US GAAP.
  3. Perform Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
  4. Manage Chart of Accounts: Manage and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  5. Support Audits and Compliance: Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data to ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA) with minimum 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • MIS Reporting and Financial Analysis: Have experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis to deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Accounting Standards Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS, or US GAAP.
  • Intercompany Reconciliation Experience: Have experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
