Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to support our students in their academic journey. This role involves serving as the first point of contact for newly enrolled students, helping them navigate campus resources, policies, and academic expectations.

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a student-first mindset. The ideal candidate will have experience in student support, operations, or a customer-facing role and be proficient in MS Office. They should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

About this Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for newly enrolled students, providing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
  • Maintain accurate student data in our system, ensuring that student information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Collect and process student fees in a timely manner, adhering to institutional guidelines.
  • Provide support to students via email, phone, and chat, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate important information to students through various channels, including emails, announcements, and campus-wide communications.
  • Educate students on financial aid options, scholarships, grants, and associated application processes and deadlines.
  • Assist students with non-technical issues during course registration and resolve enrolment-related errors.
  • Share updates about alumni events, guest lectures, webinars, and networking opportunities to foster engagement and learning.
