About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Administrator to manage our big data platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Hadoop, Hive, HBase, BigSQL, and other big data technologies. They will be responsible for administering and monitoring big data platform components, handling day-to-day operations, and supporting technical and application team requests.

The successful candidate will also be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user queries, application jobs, and platform performance. They will work closely with vendors to resolve issues as needed and provide governance and support to project teams.

In addition, they will maintain and support big data platform CDP Private Cloud and IBM BigSQL across multiple environments, install new versions and patches, and upgrade CDP Private Cloud to CDP Public Cloud.
