Our goal is to minimize financial losses for banks, merchants, and cardholders by implementing robust chargeback management processes. This involves optimizing dispute resolution efficiency, ensuring compliance with card scheme regulations, and reducing risk exposure.

The ideal candidate will handle daily chargeback cases promptly to minimize financial exposure for all parties involved. Accurate documentation must be maintained to defend against unwarranted chargebacks, while also identifying trends and root causes of disputes.

To achieve this, the candidate will analyze dispute data to identify high-risk merchants, transaction types, or patterns leading to chargebacks. Collaboration with merchants to implement fraud prevention tools and best practices will also be essential.

We are looking for someone who can optimize operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements. Strong financial controls must be maintained to support business decisions.

Cross-functional collaboration with product, promotions, and operations teams will be necessary to assess risk impact and provide input during product design and rollout. Data-driven insights and risk impact assessments will be required to inform business decisions.

Compliance with Visa, Mastercard, JCB, CUP, Diners, and other card scheme chargeback regulations is crucial in ensuring the success of this role.
