Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and preparation of journals and allocations
  • Preparing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Fixed assets, leases, and intangibles accounting and reconciliations, posting bank-related journals and making reconciliations
  • Review of P2P, O2C accounting, reconciliations, journals, and other quality metrics
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with local reporting requirements, IFRS, and US GAAP

You will also be responsible for submitting country-level reporting packs to the consolidation team, providing support to countries for quality submission of the reporting pack, and ensuring all intercompany transactions are eliminated.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A semi-qualified accountant with 4-6 years of experience or a qualified accountant with 1-3 years of experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting for a multinational company or consulting firm
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP module
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts under IFRS and US GAAP
  • Advance Excel working knowledge, PowerPoint, and excellent analytical skills
