We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This role will involve transforming data from various sources into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable solutions that meet business needs by understanding customer requirements.
  • Develop warehouse and reporting solutions using expertise in database design and architecture.
  • Extract data from multiple sources, consolidating it into a central location for analysis.
  • Maintain data accessibility and structure to facilitate reporting needs.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Work with product management to prioritize technical debt remediation and refactoring of data structures and stored procedures.
  • Guide junior team members in development practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Expertise in creating and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Experience working with legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies.
  • Relational database design and architecture expertise.
  • Expert in data visualization and reporting.
  • Understanding of OLAP structures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and track tasks.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
