Job Title: Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end cost management services to our clients, ensuring that their objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commissions of varying sizes, depending on the complexity of the project
  • Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports
  • Apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and involve Turner & Townsend's specialist Value Management team where appropriate
  • Manage estimating and cost planning activities, including taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring that all stages, including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation, are performed effectively
  • Ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
Requirements:
  • Education - (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) - Having good knowledge of MEP
  • Relevant experience of working preferably for a construction consultancy in India/abroad, hold a graduate degree preferably in Cost Management, and possess good technical skills
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review
  • 10+ years work experience with demonstrated career growth graph
  • Experience in multiple sub-sectors within the property projects will be an added advantage
