Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, conducting deep dive variance analysis, and coordinating with business stakeholders to deliver results and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Conduct deep dive variance analysis
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to deliver results and reports
  • Prepare defined monthly reports, including a monthly reporting deck, process-level dashboards, vertical-level P&L, and top 10 expense reports
  • Prepare other management reports
  • Prepare unit split reports monthly to have unit-wise expenses
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting, including cost-benefit analysis with existing/new vendors and Capex templates
  • Benchmark on various cost control parameters
  • Manage cost centers and profit centers, including maintenance of cost center structure, creation of new cost centers, and updating of cost center details
  • Act as a finance validation POC for different projects, evaluating efficiency gains and conducting efficiency analysis of different verticals in the company
  • Partner with various functions to help them understand and achieve cost control and efficiencies
  • Support transformation projects, including cost optimization, automation, efficiency, and other ad-hoc projects

Managerial Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lead and support direct reportees
  • Prompt and proactive communication and coordination with internal/external stakeholders
  • Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of India accounting (IGAAP) and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of local tax structures, including corporate tax, TDS, GST, transfer pricing, and VAT
  • SAP experience, with at least 2-3 years of accounting experience in SAP

Qualifications:

  • CA with 2-3 years of experience or MBA with 3-4 years of experience in corporate controlling and reporting
  • Good command over MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good to have SAP knowledge, but not mandatory
