Job Summary:

The ETL Developer role involves developing and delivering solutions for information management, focusing on collection, transformation, and storage. This position is integral in migrating ETL to the cloud.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer pain points and develop targeted solutions, identifying the relevant customer segment and creating a business case for the new service offering.
  • Determine data integration requirements, analyzing sources, targets, business rules, and transformation logic.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Informatica cloud data integration processes using suitable load techniques, including Push-Down Optimization for performance optimization.
  • Create a data integration and conversion strategy, exception handling mechanism, data retention and archival strategy.
  • Debug and optimize data integration processes; examine data warehouse architecture, normalized/de-normalized, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional surrogate key handling, exception data processing, troubleshoot, and recommend improvements and alternative methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms along with Informatica Power Center and data warehousing expertise.
  • Background in developing workflows, triggers, integration, and conversion experience using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud.
  • Familiarity with different databases, e.g., SQL server, Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting to automate jobs using scripts and ability to write/debug Shell Scripts.
  • Demonstrated experience with data integration architectures, data analysis, and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise level Data Warehousing.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL and PL/SQL.

PREFERRED: Informatica Cloud Certification

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in modeling and business system designs with a minimum of overall 8 years IT experience.
