Job Title: SCM Presales and Solutions Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a SCM Presales and Solutions Consultant. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in presales, solutioning, and consulting for large-scale supply chain outsourcing engagements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and process maturity assessments with customers to build compelling business cases for outsourcing.
  • Create insightful responses to RFPs/RFIs, develop winning value propositions, and articulate supply chain service offerings that meet customer needs.
  • Present and defend solutions with confidence during client discussions, ensuring seamless communication of complex ideas.
  • Prepare detailed FTE estimations, location strategies, transformation roadmaps, transition plans, and support SOW creation and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams and provide ongoing support during transition to steady state.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives, including developing training modules that enhance team capabilities.
  • Represent the organization in analyst interactions to enhance brand value and positioning in the market.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to build integrated value propositions in large, multi-service deals that drive business growth.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by staying ahead of industry trends and market developments, applying expertise to drive innovation and improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8–15 years of experience in presales/solutioning roles within Supply Chain, with a proven track record of success.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • A strong background in solution design, deal structuring, and implementation of large SCM engagements, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
  • A good understanding of direct and indirect sourcing categories across industries, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in outcome-based/gain-share solution models, with a focus on driving business outcomes and growth.
  • Familiarity with leading SCM tools such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Ariba, Coupa, with hands-on experience preferred.
  • Exposure to automation, RPA, digitalization, analytics, and process mining tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a focus on utilizing technology to drive efficiency and productivity.
