Job Title: Senior Laravel Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Laravel Developer to join our team at MERNPLUS. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced developers to take on complex software applications using the Laravel framework and MySQL or other relational databases.

About the Role
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP applications using the Laravel framework, ensuring optimal speed and responsiveness.
  • Design, implement, and optimize database schemas using MySQL or other relational databases, providing efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement efficient data transfer mechanisms between the server and client-side applications, enhancing overall system performance.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality, streamlining workflows and improving user experience.
  • Develop and customize plugins for popular frameworks to extend their capabilities, enabling seamless integration with existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimize application performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Write clear and concise documentation for PHP code, facilitating maintenance and future development, and ensuring that all code is well-documented and easily understandable.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery, leveraging expertise from various teams to drive project success.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to PHP applications, providing prompt support to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including designing, implementing, and optimizing database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), enabling effective collaboration with front-end teams and delivering seamless user experiences.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient management of code repositories.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development, with a strong grasp of API security and best practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React), enabling effective collaboration with front-end teams and delivering innovative user experiences.
