Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented team player with a flair for testing and software quality to fill this key role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform automated testing to ensure high-quality software, conduct performance, load, and stress tests to guarantee seamless user experience.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications to drive successful product releases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and provide expert feedback, participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and set up test environments correctly to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and minimize business impact.
  • Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Implement process improvements and promote best practices in software quality assurance to drive excellence and consistency.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing by coordinating resources and guidance for end-users to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Conduct security testing and ensure product compliance with industry standards to maintain the highest level of integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright) to drive efficient testing and development workflows.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing test plans and strategies to deliver high-quality products.
  • Experience in performance, load, and stress testing to guarantee optimal system performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, background in defect management and root cause analysis to drive problem-solving and resolution.
