Job Summary

Senior Executive – Finance is a key position that plays a crucial role in the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, and inter-company transactions must be performed accurately and on time.
  • Supplier invoices are reviewed and verified in line with contractual agreements, and entries are recorded in BOS.
  • Monthly MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconciliations of income and expenditure reports are prepared.
  • Overseeing monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly BOS reconciliation is done efficiently.
  • Monitoring receivables, following up with debtors, and preparing monthly ageing reports is essential.
  • Financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS must be maintained and updated regularly.
  • Invoices are processed accurately, and receipts are recorded.
  • MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH are generated using BOS financial data.
  • Proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions must be ensured.
  • General ledger reviews and analysis are conducted regularly.
  • Auditors are assisted during financial audits and statement preparation.
  • Invoices are delivered to airline clients, and acknowledgments are submitted to the Team.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
  • Quality, safety, and security standards are adhered to in all financial operations.
  • Any incidents or violations impacting safety, security, or company reputation are reported.
Qualifications:
  • B.Com/ CA Inter with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • M.Com or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and financial systems is required.
Preferred Experience:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; ERP system experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is beneficial.
