We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications and services on GCP.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Build Scalable Infrastructure: You will design and build scalable, reliable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP, including virtual machines, storage systems, and networking components.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You will implement IaC using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or other tools to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources.
  • Develop CI/CD Pipelines: You will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications.
  • Maintain High Availability: You will ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of critical applications by implementing appropriate architecture and monitoring strategies.
  • Automate Provisioning and Monitoring: You will automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
Requirements:
  • DevOps Mindset: You should have a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and incident management.
  • Agile Methodologies: You should be familiar with Agile and Scrum practices for collaborative development and iterative delivery.
  • Version Control: You should have expert-level proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Google Cloud Platform Expertise: You should have in-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Storage, Databases, Networking, Security, and Identity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Terraform: You should have experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Docker and Kubernetes: You should have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Cloud Native Applications: You should have experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.
  • Automation Tools: You should have experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
