About the Role

Photon is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our agile delivery team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and facilitating scrum ceremonies, leading the scrum team, and helping the product owner and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Lead the scrum team of developers, testers, and business users in delivering the ServiceNow application solution using agile methodology.
  • Help the product owner and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog, and to create user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify and engage relevant stakeholders and business partners to design the delivery of the appropriate cadence for stakeholder engagement with their buy-in.
  • Empower the team to self-organize and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and expectations.
  • Track and monitor the progress and quality of the team's deliverables and communicate the status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor the team on agile values, principles, and practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and feedback.
  • Develop use cases, process diagrams, and requirements documentation using stories and scrum tasks in ServiceNow/Jira.
  • Drive continuous improvement via Inspect and adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the teams and help them improve.
  • Remove any impediments or blockers that hinder the team's productivity and performance.
  • Manage dependencies and coordination with other teams and external parties.
  • Use insights and SME input to create impactful communication and effective collaboration via different channels and mediums.
  • Ensure the team adheres to agreed standards and processes, and follows best practices of software development and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and the process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master role, preferably with 3+ years' experience for development projects on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, and configuration.
  • Experience in creating process flow diagrams and use cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse and distributed team.
  • Solid understanding of project and software development methodologies/techniques (AGILE).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, multitasking, and conflict-management skills.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex situations.
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening, and presentation.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
