Senior FIX Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FIX Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol and experience working in electronic trading environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for external communication with tech teams of clients and brokers, as well as involvement in strategic projects such as system improvements and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4)
  • Experience with programming languages including Java, C++, C, and Python
  • Unix/Linux-based operating system applications expertise
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL queries (Oracle/SQL)
  • FIX certification process knowledge
  • Electronic trading environment experience in FIX onboarding or FIX Support capacity
  • Networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts understanding
  • Asset classes exposure: Equities, Futures, Options, FX
  • Training and mentoring junior team members experience
  • Jira project tracking and Confluence documentation and knowledge sharing experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Multitasking capabilities with flexibility across multiple time zones (HK/EU/US hours)
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

  • Scripting knowledge in one of the following languages: Shell, Python
  • Algorithmic Trading familiarity
  • OMS/EMS, exchanges, or trading firms experience would be beneficial
  • Developing tooling and processes to drive efficiencies experience

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution
