Android HAL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android HAL Developer to join our team at Neudeep Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android Middleware, HAL, and AOSP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Android HAL modules for infotainment, phone, camera, BT, radio, vehicle, and other Android HAL components.
  • Design and implement Android HAL layer features and enhancements for customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve stability metrics and deliver features in scope, time, and quality.
  • Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.
  • Implement defined test strategies and document the achieved results.
Requirements:
  • Development experience in infotainment media, phone, camera, BT, radio, vehicle, or other Android HAL modules.
  • Programming experience in embedded C/C++/Java/Android Middleware.
  • Good knowledge of embedded OS concepts (Linux, Android Platform).
  • Good understanding of Android architecture and framework (AOSP, Binder IPC, Application framework).
  • Experience with Android Audio Architecture, AIDL/HIDL interfaces, SE Linux policies, and multi-threaded programming using POSIX.
  • Hands-on development experience and expertise in infotainment domains, such as connectivity, BT phone, Android Auto, and hardware configuration and performance tuning.
