Job Title: GraphQL Engineer

Rigel Networks is seeking a skilled GraphQL Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and securing our GraphQL APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure GraphQL APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including OAuth and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Optimize GraphQL queries and mutations to improve performance and reduce latency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GraphQL APIs and their integrations.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in GraphQL, security, and web development.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on GraphQL development.
  • Strong proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design, query optimization, and resolver functions.
  • Experience with Apollo Server or other GraphQL server implementations.
  • In-depth understanding of security best practices, particularly in API development, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
  • Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and version control systems (e.g., Git).
