Costing Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Costing Specialist to work across our diverse verticals to establish robust costing systems, project margin tracking, and financial reporting frameworks. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth through effective cost management.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets.
  • Monitor and track material, labor, transport, and overhead costs per project.
  • Allocate shared costs across business verticals.
  • Create standard cost templates and monitor budget versus actual performance.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics to validate cost data.
  • Support the implementation of ERP systems for costing modules.
  • Prepare regular cost reports for senior leadership.
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
  • 3–6 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in infra, construction, or rentals.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Tally Prime, is an advantage.
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong grasp of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience working in project-based or rental-driven businesses.
  • Advanced Excel and cost reporting skills.
  • Understanding of logistics, inventory, and shared cost allocation.
  • Hands-on approach with a systems-building mindset.
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Proactive margin tracking and loss prevention strategies.
  • Systemized reports aligned to ERP structure.
  • Clear, actionable monthly insights for senior leadership.
