Lead Test Management Specialist

SAP Solution Managers play a crucial role in leading test management activities for projects, upgrades, updates, and fix releases. This involves overseeing key responsibilities such as:

  • Effective stakeholder communication and coordination to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Guiding project management on test activities to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Managing test artefacts within designated tools to maintain organisational efficiency.
  • Ensuring traceability from business requirements to executed test scenarios through meticulous documentation.
  • Coordinating testers to create and deliver high-quality test cases in chosen tools, promoting collaborative work environments.
  • Tracking test progress and execution to identify areas of improvement and optimise processes.
  • Defect handling and continuous improvement initiatives to foster an environment of excellence.

The ideal candidate has experience in the GTM role, delivering services according to service descriptions. They should possess strong leadership and communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration, status reporting, escalation, decision-making, presentation, and training. Key technical skills include:

  • Test planning and execution: deep understanding of release testing lifecycle, test case creation, and repository, testing enablement, and execution strategies.
  • Tool expertise: SAP Solution Manager (SXP Test Suite), Worksoft Certify, and Analytic tools like Power BI, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, Signavio Integration.
