Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Application Developer to lead our software development initiatives and drive innovation in the field of application enhancement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of new applications and providing expert-level assistance to the company using the OutSystems platform.

About the Role:

  • Spearhead the development of new applications and enhancements to existing ones using the OutSystems platform.
  • Provide expert-level assistance to the company using the OutSystems platform.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement large-scale applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and project plans.
  • Analyse business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with OutSystems, C/C++, and operating system internals.
  • Strong understanding of multi-platform and multi-dimensional experience, and expertise in business and technical applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing Front End User Interface and development.
  • Good knowledge of APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool specifically with OutSystems software.
  • Good Understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience mentoring others and providing troubleshooting support strongly preferred.
  • Multi database and/or multi language strongly preferred.
  • Be a Problem solver, Customer Oriented and with great soft skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Advanced knowledge of Linux or Windows Kernel architecture.
  • Strong experience with web technologies, preferred REST, JSON and XML Web Services.
  • Used Responsive Web Design so that the website is compatible with different devices like desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones.
  • Identify, evaluate and fix applications performance bottlenecks.
  • Ability to conduct technical reviews during the software development life cycle and prescribe optimizations and improvement measures.

  • You are an expert in C/C++ and operating system internals.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and can handle complex technical issues.
  • You are a good communicator and can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
