Job Overview

A multidisciplinary organization specializing in engineering, architecture, planning, environment, project management, facilities management, and economics is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, excellent communication skills, and experience working on international projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design reinforced concrete structures such as high-rises, stadiums, airports, malls, culverts, tanks, etc.
  • Develop designs that meet international codes and standards.
  • Understand loads & load paths, seismic and wind load parameters, and applicable design approaches.
  • Cordinate and negotiate structural requirements with other trades.
  • Work in a team, lead junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, bills of quantities, and review shop drawings.
  • Aware of quality procedures and technical report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices when required.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of core design experience in the design of concrete/steel structures.
  • Experience using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python.
  • Knowledge of PT design with software like RAM concept preferred.
  • Bachelor/master's degree in structural engineering from a reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification.
